Larisa Freyman, an associate with the firm, concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, as well as estate and trust administration. She works closely with clients to develop practical strategies tailored to their estate planning objectives. In addition, Larisa represents both fiduciaries and beneficiaries in a wide range of estate and trust matters. She provides fiduciaries with comprehensive guidance throughout the probate and trust administration process, including advice on fiduciary duties and related tax obligations.
Larisa earned her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Northeastern University. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from New England Law | Boston, where she gained practical experience through internships with the New England Law Clinic and the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office. Following the commencement of her legal career, Larisa pursued advanced legal studies and earned an LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law.
Before joining Tamkin & Hochberg, LLP, Larisa served as a tax researcher for a major tax preparation firm and led a regulatory compliance project for an international financial institution. She also acquired substantial legal experience at several Boston-area law firms, where her practice spanned a broad range of civil litigation matters, with a particular emphasis on family law. In this capacity, Larisa represented clients in divorce, child custody, and other domestic relations proceedings, gaining extensive experience in client advocacy and dispute resolution.
Larisa resides in Sharon, Massachusetts, with her husband, David, their children, Ayva and Jacob, and their Havadoodle, Bo. In her free time, she enjoys photography, attending her children’s sporting events, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Larisa practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, trust administration, and taxation. Larisa is a member of the Women’s Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association.
