Mark J. Tarallo is a partner in Dalton & Finegold’s Corporate and Business Law Department. He represents clients in a broad array of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, private equity transactions, and securities offerings. Mark works with clients of all sizes ranging from startups to publicly listed international companies.

Mark regularly counsels buyers, sellers, investors, and issuers on business planning, corporate governance, and transaction due diligence. He has extensive experience advising private funds and investment advisers in connection with regulatory and securities matters.

Mark has written and presented extensively on a variety of securities and corporate law topics. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Boston Bar Association.

Prior to joining Dalton & Finegold, Mark was a partner in the Boston office of a New England law firm.

• Served as legal counsel to Fog Solutions, Inc., a premier data and AI firm, in its sale to Nimble Gravity, a global consultancy specializing in AI, data, and software engineering.
• Served as legal counsel to Essco Calibration Laboratory in its sale to Transcat, Inc. (Nasdaq: TRNS), creating a dominant presence for Transcat in the New England market providing specialized, high-end calibration services to multiple industries, including life sciences, industrial, and aerospace and defense.
• Served as legal counsel to Hub Foundation, a specialist foundation and groundworks company, in connection with its acquisition by Soletanche Bachy, part of a worldwide group of specialty geotechnical contractors and engineering firms owned by a French conglomerate.
• Served as legal counsel to Kaplansky Insurance Agency, a property and casualty insurance firm, in its sale to Alera Group, a top national insurance and financial services firm.
• Represented OpenClinica, an industry-leading clinical research solutions provider, in connection with a strategic investment with Thompson Street Capital Partners.
• Advised Fowler High Precision, Inc., a specialty manufacturer and distributor of dimensional metrology tools, highly engineered systems, and calibration services, in connection with its recapitalization by Pfingsten Partners, LLC.
