Attorney Sean Regan is a partner specializing in zoning and land use, real estate litigation, and condominium law. His practice focuses on representing developers, individuals, and condominium associations. He guides clients through zoning and permitting matters, defends development approvals in litigation, and assists with condominium formation, governance, and Chapter 183A enforcement. Mr. Regan seamlessly integrates litigation defense with entitlements representation, providing comprehensive counsel for Massachusetts real estate and municipal law challenges.

Before joining Dalton & Finegold, Mr. Regan was a partner at a boutique condominium law firm and served in key roles at the University of Massachusetts and Boston City Hall under Mayors Menino and Walsh, gaining invaluable insight into community engagement and real estate development policy. He has argued before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and earned his J.D. magna cum laude from New England Law. Mr. Regan previously was elected to serve on the Swampscott Housing Authority Board.

Outside the Office

A fifth-generation Bostonian from South Boston, Mr. Regan resides on the North Shore with his wife Emilee and their three children – Annabelle, Isla, and SJ. The family enjoys exploring national parks together, adventures that reflect the same drive for growth he brings to his practice. Sean has completed an Ironman and builds a backyard rink each winter, drawing on these experiences to bring discipline and teamwork to solving complex legal challenges for his clients. Whether in athletics or law, he knows that persistence through setbacks defines success.
