Attorney Barry Finegold is a founding and managing partner of the firm, specializing in Residential Real Estate and Commercial Real Estate. Mr. Finegold has a long career in public service; he currently represents the 2nd Essex and Middlesex district in the Massachusetts State Senate and served as a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1997-2010. Before that, he was a Selectman in the Town of Andover. Before practicing law, he worked in commercial and residential lending for several banking institutions in the Greater Boston area. Mr. Finegold is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College, the Massachusetts School of Law, and the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Mr. Finegold resides in Andover with his wife, Amy, their three children, Ava, Ella, and Max, and the family’s bulldog, Otis. In his free time, Mr. Finegold enjoys coaching his children’s flag football, hockey, and soccer teams, attending hard rock concerts, and his daily 5am work out.
Attorney Stephen Bazarian is a partner specializing in Litigation. His practice focuses primarily on tort defense, including premises liability, product liability, and foodborne illness litigation. He also has substantial experience representing clients in complex business and commercial litigation and large-scale debt collection and other creditors’ rights actions. Mr. Bazarian’s practice also includes litigating disputes for commercial landlords and property managers. His clients include a nationwide supermarket chain, for whom he is lead defense counsel for all of the company’s general liability cases in New England. Mr. Bazarian’s thirty years of experience enable him to advise a wide range of clients with regard to potential disputes and to represent those clients through litigation, at trial, and in appeal. Mr. Bazarian is a graduate of Boston College Law School and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa. Attorney Brendan Boyle is a Partner at the firm concentrating in Commercial Real Estate and Business law with a focus on the financing, acquisition, disposition and leasing of commercial real estate. Mr. Boyle joined Dalton & Finegold in 2012. Mr. Boyle represents institutional and private lenders in the structuring and documentation of commercial real estate loans and the negotiation of documents evidencing such loans. He also represents individual and institutional developers and investors in connection with the acquisition, disposition and leasing of commercial real estate. In addition to his commercial real estate practice, Mr. Boyle represents individuals and existing companies in connection with organizational formation and general corporate matters. Mr. Boyle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College, and received his law degree, cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School. Attorney Crosby Elliott is a partner at the firm and assists individuals and families in all aspects of estate planning and trust and estate administration. Crosby’s experience in both planning and administration allow him to expertly advise clients through their many stages of life. Crosby prides himself on building relationships with clients to help simplify what can often be an overwhelming experience.
Crosby’s practice focuses on how best to minimize or avoid Massachusetts or federal estate taxes, avoid probate, shield assets from the cost of long-term care, and protect assets for beneficiaries. Crosby accomplishes these goals by employing sophisticated and comprehensive estate planning techniques, including the use of revocable trusts and various irrevocable trusts. Crosby also prepares federal gift tax returns.
A significant portion of Crosby’s practice also involves counseling clients through the administration of a loved one’s trust or estate. Attorney Ashley Evirs is a partner at the firm specializing in all facets of estate planning, estate and trust administration, as well as long term care planning. Ashley works with individuals and couples that have not completed any planning to design a customized plan to suit their goals and needs, as well as enjoys working with clients that have existing plan documents to see if any improvements or updates would be beneficial to the overarching plan. Goals and families change over time and so too should your legal documents. Her goal is to help people avoid probate system, minimize estate taxes, as well as provide asset protection for beneficiaries.
Further, Ashley’s experience with long term care planning allows her to provide strategic counsel for the elderly community, and their families, preparing for a loved one’s upcoming MassHealth/Medicaid long term care application. She counsels families on available spenddown strategies, sets up Irrevocable Trusts for protection purposes, as well as locates any planning deficiencies so she can recommend improvements. Ashley’s practice also centers on counseling clients through the loss of a loved one. She has handled probate actions, navigated resolutions for family disputes, acted as Trustee for clients, represented Trustee’s to counsel and guide the administration process, as well as prepared and filed state and federal estate tax returns.
Ashley enjoys meeting people to keep up on legal topics that concern the community, working with financial advisors to navigate clients concerns to develop possibilities available, as well as giving presentations to educate folks as to planning options that exist and are available.

Prior to joining Dalton & Finegold, Attorney Gagliardi was a Partner at the well-respected full-service firm of Healey, Deshaies, Gagliardi & Woelfel, PC located in Amesbury, Massachusetts. Attorney Gagliardi received his Bachelor’s Degree, magna cum laude, from Tufts University, and his law degree from Boston University School of Law. He has also earned a Masters in Taxation at Boston University School of Law. Paul, who has been practicing in Amesbury since 1977, is a member of the Amesbury Lions Club. Attorney Patrick Heffernan is a partner specializing in litigation. Before joining Dalton & Finegold, he spent 25 years as a member of two of Boston’s largest law firms, most recently as a partner and co-leader of the Goulston & Storrs Hospitality and Recreation Group. Kenneth is a member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants, part of the Hospitality Industry Advisory Board for New England Real Estate Journal and has been a guest lecturer at the Boston University School of Hospitality Administration. Christopher R. Vaccaro concentrates his practice in commercial real estate and banking, representing developers and financial institutions in sophisticated commercial transactions. His practice includes real estate development, condominiums, leasing, zoning, permitting, litigation, and loan restructuring. Chris was admitted to the Texas bar in 1984 (currently on inactive status), the Massachusetts bar in 1988, and the United States District Court for Massachusetts in 2001. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts. Chris is the author of the monthly “Law of the Land” column in Banker & Tradesman, and has published articles in other periodicals, including Boston Business Journal, Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, and the New England Real Estate Journal. Chris is a member of the Board of Directors of Bridgewell, a leading human services nonprofit in northeastern Massachusetts. She became a reserve police officer for the City of Methuen, which she served for six years.

Justin DeFilippo is an associate specializing in Residential Real Estate. Justin completed his undergraduate work at University of Massachusetts Lowell, Masters in Criminology at University of Lowell and received his Juris Doctorate degree from New England School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts. Prior to joining the firm, Justin worked as a land use and zoning attorney focusing on special permits and variances. Attorney Zoë Gillies is an Associate specializing in Residential Real Estate. She graduated magna cum laude from Bentley University and earned her JD cum laude from Suffolk University Law School. During her time at Suffolk, Zoë was an active member of the Suffolk University Law Review and the Women’s Law Association. She also gained valuable experience as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Frank M. Gaziano of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
Outside of her professional life, Zoë enjoys boating, skiing, spending time with family, and trying new restaurants in Boston. She also cherishes her time in her home state of Maine. Attorney Caitlin Izzo is an associate specializing in Residential Real Estate. Prior to joining the firm, Caitlin worked at a large firm in Worcester, Massachusetts specializing in Commercial Real Estate and Corporate matters, where she focused her practice on commercial finance, leasing, and the purchase and sale of businesses and business assets. Caitlin has experience working closely with Land Court, various state agencies, engineers, and other professionals for a wide variety of legal matters, including working closely with attorneys filing S-Petitions in Land Court, obtaining town permits for new developments and zoning matters, and conservation restrictions.

Jessica resides in Watertown with her husband, Luke, and their dog, Ted. Outside of work, she enjoys trying out new recipes, diving into a good book, and spending quality time with her family.
Attorney Paige Shlayen is an associate specializing in Residential Real Estate. Paige focuses her practice on buyer and seller representation. Paige graduated on the deans list with a Bachelors of Science in International Business and a minor in Spanish from Quinnipiac University and obtained her Juris Doctor from New York Law School. Throughout law school, Paige worked with a firm handling corporate and real estate litigation matters. Upon graduation, Paige worked as a judicial clerk for Judge DeCastro in Hudson County Superior Court. Paige obtained her Finance Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) certification before working in compliance with Santander Bank, N.A. Paige left the hustle of NYC in 2018 and fell in love with the charming city of Boston. Paige currently resides in Newton, Massachusetts where most of her business is focused and works out of our Boston office. Being one of four sisters, outside of work Paige enjoys spending time with her family, skiing, and traveling.
Mckenzie Russell-Masterson is an associate at the firm specializing in Residential and Commercial Real Estate. She focuses her practice on commercial leasing, financing and business transactions. Mckenzie completed her undergraduate work at Saint Anselm College and received her Juris Doctor degree from New England Law | Boston. She is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Beyond her work at the firm, Mckenzie is a member of the Merrimack Valley Habitat for Humanity on the Site Acquisition Committee. Mckenzie resides in Boston and works in both our Andover and Boston offices.
Attorney Kerri Tolman is an associate specializing in Residential Real Estate. Kerri focuses her practice on representing buyers, sellers, and lenders. Attorney Tolman prioritizes providing exceptional client-first legal services to each of her clients. Attorney Tolman graduated magna cum laude from Salem State College, has a Master of Science from Suffolk University, and received her law degree from Massachusetts School of Law. She is an Affiliate Member of Greater Newburyport REALTORS®. Attorney Tolman is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Kerri is a lifelong resident of Newbury, Massachusetts. She grew up on Plum Island, a small barrier island located off the northeast coast of Massachusetts. She now lives off-island in Newbury with her husband Michael. Kerri has a passion for photography and loves being on or near the ocean. In her free time, Kerri enjoys spending time with family and friends and boating on the Parker River.
Tim Walsh is an associate specializing in Residential Real Estate. He joined Dalton & Finegold in 2021. Tim focuses his practice on representing buyers, sellers, and lenders in the acquisition and disposition of real estate, from Boston to South Shore and the Cape and Islands. Tim graduated cum laude and received his degree in Marketing from Bentley University, and he graduated cum laude and received his Juris Doctor and Real Estate Certificate from Brooklyn Law School. During his time in law school, Tim was a member of the Brooklyn Journal of Corporate, Financial & Commercial Law and he served as a Judicial Intern at the Massachusetts Land Court. Tim lives in Duxbury and enjoys spending time with family and friends on the golf course, at the beach, and exploring restaurants

Attorney Erin Donahue is an associate at the firm specializing in estate planning as well as estate and trust administration. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and graduated cum laude from New England Law | Boston with her J.D. While attending New England Law | Boston, Attorney Donahue received the New England Scholar Award for being in the top 10% of the class in addition to Excellence awards for both Mediation and Family Law, which is given to the highest grade in the class. In her free time, she enjoys working out, snowboarding, and cooking.
Attorney Andrea Rutherford is an associate concentrating in Trusts and Estate Planning. She holds a B.A. in political science from Yale University, summa cum laude; a master’s degree in government from Harvard University; and her J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School and is a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council. Her previous work experience has been in international finance, and she has lived in Moscow and London. She now lives in Andover with her husband and son, Alex. Attorney Rutherford is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of New Hampshire.

Attorney Althea Volper is an associate specializing in estate planning. She earned her bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in Government and Spanish from Skidmore College. Attorney Volper earned her law degree from Brooklyn Law School, where she served as an Executive Board Member of the Moot Court Honor Society. She is a member of the American, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Essex County Bar Associations and is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and New York. Althea works in our office in Amesbury, where she lives with her husband and children. She enjoys working with the Amesbury Rotary Club and being involved with her community.

Attorney William McGuire is an associate specializing in Estate Planning and Estate Administration. Will graduated from Quinnipiac University where he earned a double major in Economics and Finance. Will received his Juris Doctor from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth School of Law, where he developed a passion for detail-oriented work, human rights, and exploring the penumbras of the Constitution. Outside of his work, Will enjoys working on his Mazda Miata, playing with his dog, and making furniture out of discarded car parts. Will also sits on the Southeastern Residential Services Human Rights Committee under the Department of Developmental Services.
Attorney Harold ‘Hal’ Owen Beede is an associate at the firm specializing in Civil Litigation. Attorney Beede focuses his practice on commercial contract and lease disputes and real property / land issues such as appeals of denials of permits and variances, zoning violations; as well as resolving title defects (“quiet title actions”), adverse possession, prescriptive easements, and right-of-way and property line / boundary disputes. Hal also advises large and small businesses and employers as to employment law issues. He has represented individuals, small businesses and large corporate clients at all levels of state and federal trial and appellate courts, including obtaining favorable published decisions in the Massachusetts Appeals Court, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the New Hampshire Supreme Court. Beede earned his undergraduate degree from Salem State University, cum laude, and his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School where was Executive Editor of the Suffolk Transnational Law Review, Member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Society, and was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award in Commercial Law. Hal also interned at the US Attorney’s Office in Providence Rhode Island, and for Hon. Ernest C. Torres, US District Court Judge for the District of Rhode Island. Hal grew up in Reading, Massachusetts, and has lived in southeastern New Hampshire since 1992.
Attorney Kaleena Machado is an associate at the firm specializing in litigation at the trial court level. Her practice involves resolving complex title litigation including determination of title and clearing title defects for recorded and registered land, as well as handling landlord tenant disputes, including summary process actions. Her previous work experience has been in representing creditors in pre- and post-foreclosure title litigation. She received her undergraduate degree from Northeastern University and earned her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Attorney Machado is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the State of New Hampshire, the State of New York, the United States District Court for Massachusetts and the United States District Court for New Hampshire.
Attorney Victor E. Molle Jr. concentrates his practice in landlord-tenant law, specializing in litigation. With a focus on advocating for landlord’s rights, he also provides representation for general contractors/subcontractors, developers, and business owners in their legal disputes. Additionally, Victor provides legal support for small businesses addressing their diverse legal challenges, while protecting their interests and fostering their growth.
Prior to joining Dalton & Finegold, LLP, Victor received his Juris Doctorate from Massachusetts School of Law, where he was awarded the Dean’s Award. Also, Victor received his Master’s in Business Administration and Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Endicott College and is admitted to practice in Massachusetts.
Attorney David Guerette is an Associate at the firm concentrating in Commercial Real Estate Law, representing developers and lenders in all facets of commercial transactions, including debt and acquisition transactions, leasing, land use and zoning. Mr. Guerette joined Dalton & Finegold in 2024. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as an associate at a Boston-based law firm and as in-house counsel for a major wireless communications infrastructure company. He received his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University and his J.D. from Vermont Law School in 2008. He is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and Connecticut. Mr. Guerette is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and serves as an associate member of the Andover Zoning Board of Appeals.
Kim McCullom is the Chief Financial Officer at Dalton & Finegold where she provides leadership and direction to the Finance & Accounting Teams. She primarily focuses her time on financial forecasting and firm budgeting while providing strategic recommendations to the COO and Managing Partner of the Firm. Prior to joining Dalton & Finegold, Kim spent 12 years as Director of Finance and Technology at CBG and served as Vice President at Zurich Scudder Investments where she was employed for 9 years. Kim received her Bachelor Degree of Science in Finance from Boston College. She currently resides in Andover with her husband, son & twin daughters. In her free time, Kim enjoys spending time with family & friends, exercising, reading and baking with her daughters.
Nicole Szymanski is HR Director providing consultation to management on strategic staffing needs, compensation, benefits, training and development and labor relations. She strives to provide employees the culture that enables them to perform to the best of their abilities. For several months Nicole participated in VIBE Academy Leadership training. Prior to joining Dalton & Finegold, Nicole was the Financial Reporting Manager at HUB International, the 5th largest insurance broker in the world for 7 years and Assistant Controller at HEALTHSOUTH New England Rehabilitation Hospital for four years. Nicole received her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Bentley University where she was a diver on the Bentley University Swimming and Diving Team. She currently resides in Andover with her husband, and three young sons. In her spare time not running from hockey rink to hockey rink with her boys, Nicole enjoys running and has successfully completed the Boston Marathon twice. Nicole also enjoys spin class, boot camp workouts and shopping.
Anne Webster is the Chief of Operation at Dalton & Finegold LLP/Gold Title P.C. specializing in Residential and Commercial Real Estate, Estate Planning and Litigation. She provides operational leadership across the business units to improve processes, team performance, collaboration and leverage technology to ensure the firm delivers a high level of client services. Prior to joining Dalton & Finegold, Anne spent 20 years in real estate management with two different Realogy companies; Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, a corporately held company, and ERA, an independently owned and operated franchise. Additionally, Anne served 7 years active duty as a United States Army Medical Officer leading both field medical units and garrison hospitals overseas and stateside. Anne holds a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management and a Bachelors Degree in Education.
